SIXT RENTALS IN NORTHERN IRELAND

There are extra requirements and information for picking up a vehicle in Northern Ireland, which differ from the standard GB requirements.

Northern Ireland pick-up locations include:

  • Belfast International Airport
  • George Best Belfast City Airport
  • Belfast Titanic Quarter
  • Belfast Cruise Terminal
  • Belfast City Centre
  • Newtownards
  • Lisburn

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

  • Credit card issued in driver’s name.
  • You can pay in Northern Ireland with following payment methods: AMEX, SIXT Corporate Card, Mastercard, Visa.
  • Available deposit amount on the credit card (deposit amount can be minimized by taking full coverage and will be refunded within 7 days of return if there are no issues with the car. For further information please refer to the Rental information).
  • Age requirements: see booking page or Rental Information.

WHAT TO BRING WHEN PICKING UP THE CAR

  • Driving license
  • Passport / ID
  • For UK or Northern Irish driving licenses: DVLA endorsement record (for UK citizens) or counterpart (for Northern Irish driving licenses). See also https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-license.

PAYMENT, CREDIT CARD AND INVOICE INFORMATION

Your pre-paid booking will be charded, as displayed, in Euros. Please note:

  • Additional fees may apply from your credit card company.
  • Final invoice will be generated in the pick-up country's local currency and the pre-paid amount will be applied.
