Good to know when renting with SIXT
If you are renting in the UK, you have to be at least 23 years old to hire a luxury car. If you are under 25 and looking to hire a luxury car abroad, use the age filter in our booking funnel to see what's available.
You will, of course, need to provide a valid driving licence, which you have held for at least one year, when hiring a luxury car. You'll also need to show two proofs of address if you are a UK resident. If you are not resident in the UK then you will need to bring your passport with you to pick up the car.
Normally it isn't possible to hire a specific car model except if you select a guaranteed model category. Instead you choose a car category and are shown example models from that category. However with the SIXT app you are able to choose your vehicle 30 minutes before pickup with some agencies.
