Once you've got off the plane, collected your luggage and passed through customs, walk out into the airport's arrivals hall and you'll see the bright orange SIXT sign opposite you to your left. You can follow any of the main roads from the city centre back to the airport. If you plan to travel to other parts of Cyprus and want to return your car elsewhere, select a different drop-off during booking to see availability.

Larnaca is a seaside town with a warm climate, so there are plenty of outdoor activities you can take advantage of with your hire car, including a visit to the beach promenade. Then explore the town's unique history by visiting Agios Lazaros. From there you can walk across the road to the enthralling Byzantine Museum. You also can't miss the stunning Hala Sultan Tekke, a mosque and shrine set in the countryside a few miles west of Larnaca. It's surrounded by the Salt Lake, a nature reserve where flamingos flock.
